2014 Q4 Statistics

Some statistics for the last quarter of 2014:

• 72 cats were TNRed (trapped, neutered and released) in the quarter.
• Sadly, 11 cats (one of our largest numbers ever) were euthanized to end suffering.
• Other emergency treatments included 3 dentals, 1 enucleation, 1 leg amputation, 1 hernia operation and countless consultations for other ailments such as ringworm and flu.
• We had 22 successful adoptions in this period also.

Additionally, GCR provided ongoing food and shelters to countless colonies and their carers.

This doesn't take into account all the work involved in fundraising to meet these costs as they are not even 5% met annually through government funding. This work is made possible only by you, our volunteers, fosterers, donators, adopters and friends. We thank you for this immeasurable support as without it this task would be most certainly insurmountable.
